The virtual tour of Tartu Nature House is much more than a virtual tour. This is a virtual exhibition about Tartu Loodusmaja itself! The exhibition takes the visitor to the different rooms of the nature house and the park with the help of spherical images and introduces almost everything found there.
You can get information about the life cycle of building materials as well as environmentally friendly construction solutions, the principles of using a nature house, useful plants and animals in the conservatory, water and energy use, etc. At the exhibition, you will learn how solar energy, rainwater, wool from cashmere goats, clay and wood are used in a house located in the center of Tartu in order to take care of both nature and its guests.
The virtual exhibition of Tartu Loodusmaja consists of 13 spherical panoramic photos, which are connected to a virtual tour using a special user interface. The user interface has a menu of locations, information texts, various maps, background sounds, etc. elements. However, the main focus is on the information points - the "i" icons inside the photo, which, when clicked, show the user different information in the form of text, photos and video.
There are a total of 147 such information points throughout the entire exhibition. And so that the user still notices all of them, the information points are also neatly lined up in the information points menu on the left side of the screen. If you click on a point there, the photo moves on the screen so that the corresponding place is immediately visible.
