Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Center make up three places of study in Jõhvi, Sillamäe and Narva. At Jõhvi's place of study, learning takes place in Estonian and Russian, without educational requirements, on the basis of primary and secondary education, both school-based and workplace-based. The school has five areas of professional education - service education, economic education, technical education, technology education and IT education. The Sillamäe school offers training in nearly ten specialties, the most basic of which are chef, construction, warehouse worker, junior software developer and metalworker, offering modern study and work conditions. There are two learning units at the Narva study site. Learners of different ages study in school-based and workplace-based learning in the modern learning laboratories of the learning site.
